About the event

Winter Solstice Fire, Phoenix Drum & Cacao Ceremony with co-host Marina Cosmic

Winter Solstice is the great stillness before the Sun's strength builds again, and days begin to grow longer. It is the longest and darkest night of the year for at that moment the dark triumphs over the light. . . and this signifies a turning point! The energy of winter is that of going within, a time to rest and reflect. It's the fruitful darkness and silence out of which our deepest soul’s desires and new inspirations can eventually emerge.  As we consciously link our awareness to nature's cycles, our understanding of our own personal growth cycles begin to deepen.

Join us for an evening celebrating the shortest day of the year and this significant turning point not only in nature, but in our individual lives and for the collective as well.  We will have time around the bonfire to connect with cacao and the element of fire, asking it to transmute what no longer serves us to make room for more alignment in our lives.  We will then move inside to experience sound healing with a beautiful mix of instruments and will have the opportunity to lie under the Phoenix drum for full body tuning.

As Marina begins to smudge and play the Phoenix drum, you may choose to rest and enjoy the drum with your eyes closed or ask the drum a question about something you want to let go, the drum will make the space to release and give you what you are ready to receive in that moment.

Drum Therapy encourages people to release inner trauma through relaxation and meditative rhythms and is a powerful tool to Open your Heart.  The sound generates new neuronal connections in all parts of the brain, and can induce a natural "high" by increasing Alpha brain waves producing feelings of well-being. Throughout the experience, she will incorporate tuning forks with different frequencies. When the ocean drum, tuning forks, maracas, and singing bowls are played, the sounds become divinely guided life force energies that will navigate through your body to areas of imbalance and the vibrations of all of them will bring your body back to a healthy resonance.
